Invoices and receipts

Every invoice is available to download, and you can put your company’s details on them.

Finding them

Workspace settings → Billing → billing history. Each entry has the date, the amount, what it covered, and a PDF.

Invoices go back to the start of the subscription, so you do not need to keep your own copies.

Billing email

By default invoices go to the workspace owner. Add a billing email to send them somewhere else — finance@, or an accounting system’s inbox.

It is a separate setting from your account email, so invoices reach your finance team without giving anyone an extra seat.

Company details and VAT

Add your company name, address and VAT or tax number in billing settings. They appear on every invoice from then on.

Add the VAT number before you are charged, not after. For businesses in the EU and UK a valid number changes how VAT is applied, and reissuing an invoice to correct it afterwards is more work than entering it now.

Changing the details does not retroactively rewrite invoices already issued.

What an invoice covers

Seats for the period, at your plan’s rate, prorated for anyone added mid-cycle. Members and seats explains what counts as a seat and how mid-cycle changes are charged.

Monitor, if you use it, is billed by pages watched rather than seats and appears as its own line.

When a payment fails

We retry, and email the billing address. Your workspace keeps working during the retries — a card expiring should not take your content offline.

If every retry fails the workspace becomes read-only rather than being deleted. Update the card and it resumes; nothing is lost in between. See updating your payment method.
